An inexperienced squad containing players from three Nationwide divisions gained a 0-0 draw with Norway in Oslo and ended the hosts six match winning run.

Bournemouth midfielder Carl Fletcher, made his debut and Collins the young Cardiff star was thrown in the deep end.

Norway came out on top in the first half with Wales offering little up front.
However, they could have sneaked a victory in the 53^rd minute when a Paul Parry's shot was cleared off the line.
