Wrexham boss Denis Smith has named his squad for the LDV Vans Trophy Final at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday with injury doubts hanging over just two players – Carlos Edwards and Mark Jones – the latter training yesterday.
The squad are expected to train again this morning before making the 150-mile trip south to their team base just outside the country’s capital.
Long-term casualties Andy Dibble, Jim Whitely and Brian Carey all miss out, but will travel with the squad, while Danny Williams has been included after playing for the Reserves last week.
Southend will be without Bart Griemink with a knee injury, while Jay Smith and Lewis Hunt are still out with Achilles and cartilage injuries respectively.
All lobg-term casualties but manager Steve Tilson has no fresh injury worries as Southend look to avenge last season's Final defeat in the competition.
