Toshack names squad for Slovakia and Cyprus

John Toshack has named the Wales squad to face Slovakia (Oct 7th) and Cyprus (Oct 11th), both games at the Millennium Stadium.

Jason Koumas has been recalled but there is no place for John Hartson.

It's likely though that Hartson will be called up as Toshack has several injury worries and a concern at the lack of goals being scored.

With Mark Delaney and Sam Ricketts out injured there is a recall for Robert Page.

Ryan Giggs has been named but he is a doubt as he is recovering from a hamstring injury.

"Things are going okay," Giggs said. "I did some light jogging for the first time on Sunday.

"All I can do now is wait and see how the injury progresses."

The full squad is

Paul Jones (QPR), Jason Brown (Blackburn), Lewis Price (Ipswich), Gareth Bale (Southampton), James Collins, Danny Gabbidon (both West Ham), Richard Duffy (Portsmouth), Rob Edwards (Wolves), Lewin Nyatanga (Derby), Robert Page (Coventry), Ryan Valentine, Mark Jones (both Wrexham), Andrew Crofts (Gillingham), Simon Davies (Everton), Carl Fletcher (Crystal Palace), Jason Koumas (West Brom), Carl Robinson (Norwich), Joe Ledley (Cardiff), David Vaughan (Crewe), Craig Bellamy (Liverpool), David Cotterill (Wigan), Rob Earnshaw (Norwich), Ryan Giggs (Man Utd, capt), Paul Parry (Cardiff).
