John Tochack has named his squad to face Lictenstein in Wrexham next week. 32 year old Darren Ward is called up along with Burnley's Danny Coyne as cover for the likely first choice keeper, Jason Brown.
Paul Jones has been left out for personal reasons while Lewis Price is recovering from a cracked rib.
"Paul hasn't been left out because he got his hair shaved for the last game or because of the five goals he let in but he is not available for personal, family reasons," said Toshack.
"He will still be involved with us in the future, but I must look at other goalkeepers and this gives me my chance."
West Ham's Danny Gabbidon and James Collins are included with Ryan Giggs returning after injury.
The full squad is
Brown (Blackburn), Coyne (Burnley), Ward (Sunderland), Bale (Southampton), Collins (West Ham), Duffy (Coventry), Gabbidon (West Ham), Morgan (Wrexham), Nyatanga (Sunderland), Ricketts (Hull), Crofts (Gillingham), S Davies (Everton), Fletcher (Crystal Palace), Tudur-Jones (Swansea), Koumas (West Brom), Ledley (Cardiff), Robinson (Norwich), Vaughan (Crewe), Bellamy (Liverpool), Cotterill (Wigan), Earnshaw (Norwich), C Davies (Wolves), Giggs (Man Utd), Llewellyn (Wrexham), Parry (Cardiff).
