Burnley's John Oster has been called up to Toshack's summer training camp in Spain next week, while Ben Thatcher is also included in a Toshack squad for the first time.
Unsurprisingly, Blackburn Rovers midfielder Robbie Savage was not included in the 22-man squad which features many first choice players absent through club commitments and injury.
Notable absentees include Manchester United's Ryan Giggs who will be involved in the FA Cup final, Cardiff City's Joe Ledley is out with a metatarsal injury while Lewis Price, Carl Fletcher, Gavin Williams and Gareth Roberts are all involved in the Championship play-offs. Spurs midfielder Simon Davies is on tour with his club, and Scottish trio Craig Bellamy, John Hartson and David Partridge are still involved in the SPL.
