Toshack to name squad today

John Tochack is hoping to take Ryan Giggs to a Wales away friendly for the first time. Giggs has a poor record of attendance in friendly games but this could be the time he packs a bag and heads off with the rest of the squad for a 10 day get together that sees the team face a Basque XI in Bilbao on May 20th and Trinidad & Tobago in Graz on may 27th.

The announcement is due around lunchtime.

This is the start of the preparation for the Euro 2008 qualifiers that commence in September.
