Adam Birchill looked to have secured the points for Wales when he netted just 17 minutes from the end but the Poles grabbed an equaliser through Pawel Brozek in the 83rd minute.
"The boys are disappointed to let it slip after fighting back from a goal down and taken a 2-1 lead," Wales manager Glyn Hodges said after the game.
"Their second goal was a bit sloppy and could have been avoided.
"I'm quite pleased because Poland are a very good side. The way they passed the ball and counter attacked was very impressive."
