The game was played in front of a sparce crowd at the sports complex in Vila Real St Antonio near the Portuguese / Spanish border.

Joe Ledley hit the bar for Wales in the first half but a similar effort from Guerreiro in the last 10 mins dipped under the crossbar just out of reach of Myhill in the Welsh goal.

Craig Bellamy started the game and was one of 5 players subbed at half time.

John Toshack will now prepare his side for the World Cup double header in Cardiff on March 28th / April 1st when Wales face first Finland, then Germany.
