John Toshack and his summer training camp squad today head for San Sebastian for 5 days in the sun to allow the manager to asses some options available to him as he looks to build a squad capable of taking Wales to Euro 2008.
The squad however, is short of many players normally regulars in Wales squads in recent times due to injury or unavailablity.
Robert Page, Jason Koumas and Danny Collins have joined the list of withdrawals from
John Oster and Sam Ricketts have ruled themselves out last week, joining some 12 other players who miss out.
Wrexham pair Chris Llewellyn and Mark Jones were called up last week as reserves, but Toshack will not call any further players up.
Joe Ledley who would have been part of the squad, had he not suffered a metatarsal injury, travels wth the squad as a non-playing member.
Notable absentees are Ryan Giggs who will feature in the FA Cup final on Saturday; Lewis Price, Carl Fletcher, Gavin Williams and Gareth Roberts who are involved in league play-offs; Simon Davies on a club tour with Spurs, while Craig Bellamy, John Hartson and David Partridge are still involved in the Scottish Premier League.
