Wales to get Mini-Pitches

This week the FAW announced they had entered into agreement with UEFA to install up to 44 Jubilee Mini-Pitches in Wales with each of the local authorities installing two pitches.

“The FAW is extremely grateful to UEFA in making this very generous gift to Wales. The prototype pitch installed in Canal Park, Cardiff last year has proved very successful and it is hoped that similar success will be achieved with the other local authorities. The FAW Council were unanimous in their acceptance of this gift from UEFA which is part of the UEFA Golden Jubilee celebrations,” said the FAW General Secretary.
