The FAW are to announce a November friendly with Cyprus as boss John Toshack begins paving the way to Euro 2008 qualification.
The friendly, is expected to be played in the Cypriot capital Nicosia on Wednesday November 16 - the date set aside for the second leg of the World Cup play-off matches which Wales will not feature in.
Wales have opted out of previous friendly dates, with Toshack declaring his feelings that training camps are more useful (although it does not help their FIFA World Ranking) however the Welsh senior squad have a busy time ahead at the beginning of the new season with the first game coming against Slovenia at the New Stadium, Swansea on August 17, before World Cup qualifiers at the beginning of September, middle of October and then the Cypriot friendly the month after.
