Wrexham to get International Boost

Debt-ridden League Two side Wrexham have been boosted by the promise that Wales youth international matches will be held at their Racecourse Ground this season.

The deal come about folloing discussions between Wrexham's admiistrators Begbies Traynor and the FAW.

The first guaranteed fixture is the UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against
England on Friday, 2 September where many of England's up and coming youngsters are expected to be on display.

There will also be at least one UEFA U-17 Championship qualifier, against Switzerland, Kazakhstan or Estonia at the end of Septmeber.
