Swansea City MAD are reporting that Swansea are believed to have made a fresh move to bring Torquay United striker Adebayo Akinfenwa to south Wales.
It is claimed that Kenny Jackett has had a £70,000 bid accepted by the club.
Jackett's previous attempt at bring Bayo to Swansea ended after Jackett learned that the League Two side would be entitled to compensation due to the player's age.
However, with the Andy Burgess now dead, Jackett seems prepared to use the money to make Akinfenwa his second summer signing.
If reports are correct, Akinfenwa will hold talks with Swansea officials within 48 hours.
