Cardiff City are no nearer to signing West Bromwich Albion pair Jason Koumas or Darren Purse.
Dave Jones is keen to bring Koumas and Purse to Ninian Park ahead of the new campaign with Purse out of favour last season while Koumas is not wanted at the club and transfer listed by Bryan Robson.
The Baggies boss said: "We've had a few inquires for Koumas, but that's as far as it's gone."
Despite the interest from the Bluebirds, Purse wants to stay at The Hawthorns:
"I've always said I want to stay at Albion and I've not had any 'phone calls from my agent or anyone else," said Purse.
"I wouldn't want to move away from this area because my kids are settled here."
