Cardiff City appear set to fail in their bid to sign Manchester City defender Mikkel Bischoff.
A fee has already been agreed with the Premiership club, however, Bischoff has failed to agree personal terms for the classy centre half.
Bischoff, who has failed to break into the first team with City is believed to want to try and breakthrough under Stuart Pearce despite being way down the pecking order at the City of Manchester stadium.
Should Bischoff stay at Man City, it will be likely Pearce will allow him to spend another season on loan, with Cardiff boss Dave Jones on hand to snap up that deal for Bischoff.
