Cardiff City are understood to be planning a move for West Brom's transfer-listed midfielder Jason Koumas.
The Wales international has been told he has no future under Bryan Robson at The Hawthorns and is trying to secure his exit.
Everton, Blackburn, Fulham, Sunderland and Crystal Palace are all believed to be interested in the 25-year old.
If reports are right, Championship side Cardiff are hoping to sign Koumas on a season-long loan deal.
Koumas is believed to be keen on a move to Ninian Park in the hope of getting his career back on track after a disappointing time at West Brom.
Bluebirds boss Dave Jones is aiming to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion and Koumas would be an ideal player to aid that quest.
Meanwhile, the Bluebirds are also believed to be interested in West Brom's Darren Pulse to bolster their defence which is expected to depleted with Danny Gabbidon and James Collins likely to leave the club as they look to generate fund to bring in new players.
