Nuneaton-born Curtis has been linked with a move to south Wales and the former Manchester United trainee is keen on the move.
The 26-year old said: "It's been rumoured that I'm on my way to Cardiff and if I'm honest I'd love it if something came of it.
"I'm flattered the club is interested in me and I'd definitely like to move there.
"The club has got massive potential and with Dave Jones now in charge - a manager with a great track record and a wealth of experience - the club looks like it could be going places so it would be an ideal move for me.
"In my opinion Cardiff is a club on the up so I'd be very interested in joining them.
"But for the moment nothing has come of it."
Curtis ended last season with Nottingham Forest who were relegated from the Championship after a disappointing season
