Jackett said: "Marc can provide great width down the left flank, but can operate centrally as well, so I will be looking for plenty of goals from him throughout the course of the season."
Goodfellow had a successful loan spell at the Vetch last season and Jackett was desperate to land the Bristol City midfielder who has signed on a one-year deal with an option for a further 12-months depending on appearances.
