Cardiff City deputy chairman Peter Ridsdale will speak to out-of-contract players Willie Boland and Darren Williams about their futures at Ninian Park.

The duo are understood to be wanting two-year deals despite being offered 12-month contracts by former manager Lennie Lawrence.

Ridsdale is dealing with all issues relating to the day-to-day administration of the Bluebirds and is scheduled to meet the players later this week.

Boland joined the Bluebirds from
Coventry in 1999 while Williams arrived last season on a permanent basis following a successful loan spell from Sunderland.
