Hartlepool United boss Martin Scott believes the club's new signing Chris Llewellyn's versatility will be a major asset to the League One club as they look to go one better than their play-off promotion defeat last season.
The 25-year-old completed his move from the north Wales on Monday and Scott is confident he will be a big hit with the Pools faithful.
Llewellyn scored 15 goals in 91 league starts for Wrexham and picked up two international caps for Wales under Mark Hughes.
"I am really pleased to have him on board," Scott said.
"He is a player that I picked out two or three years ago as being a big talent - he has scored goals throughout his career and he'll be a great acquisition for us.
"The thing that impressed me was his ability to play in different positions. He can operate on the right or left, just in behind the front two or as a striker which is a real bonus.
"You don't play at international level unless you're a very good player. The fact that we can attract an international player just shows how far we have progressed and what people think of Hartlepool United now."
