"He has played Champions League at Newcastle, but at Liverpool the expectancy is so much higher, particularly in Europe.
"He will need to come to terms with the number of games, and their manager Rafael Benitez likes to rotate his squad with so many competitions.
"Tactically, he is different to coaches here, but Craig may well enjoy that too, and being used in a couple of different positions.
"But he is so pleased to be at Anfield and playing for Liverpool.
"They are looking to win things and that is what every player wants. Apart from the Scottish Cup with Celtic, there is nothing on Craig's sideboard so there's a lot to be aiming for.
"But the bottom line is he is very happy, and if he is happy then we are happy."
