Toshack ahead of Wales v Slovakia

" I think we do have players here who can score goals," said Toshack.

"We've tried to work this week a little bit more then we have before, the midfield players as well, on our finishing. We've got midfielders here who can score goals.

"We're trying to make them realise we can't just rely on one or two people to score goals and hopefully these two home games will give us a chance to put that right.

"We've worked on giving our midfielders the confidence to get into goal-scoring opportunities more often and take them. The last few games we haven't scored the goals we should have. We've had a few meetings regarding the situation with goals and we're all well aware of it."

Toshack is confident though that there's something for Wales from these games.

"Despite the injury absentees, I've got some selection problems for this game, some nice ones. I'm going to have to leave some people out of the side who I'd like to see playing.

"But these two games are ones that irrespective of any problems we might have, we'd look to be going into them to win.

"I'm confident, if I can get things right and the players implement what I want, the Slovakia game is one we can win."
