WALES boss John Toshack is ready to mix and match his talented crop of new young stars as he and U21 boss Brian Flynn get ready for a manic month of May.

Wales have what Toshack dubs five key matches coming up at senior and U21 level in the build-up towards September's Euro 2008 qualifiers.

And Toshack will use many of his young players as he and Flynn seek the right blend this month.

The two bosses met up at the FAW's swish new Cardiff HQ yesterday to devise a strategy for the coming month which sees Wales playing matches against a Basque XI (May 20) and Trinidad and Tobago (May 27) at senior level.

The U21s have competitive games with Estonia on May 10 and 24, and meet Cyprus in a friendly at Port Talbot on May 16.
