Welsh Premier League side Rhyl will use seats from Coventry City's old Highfield Road stadium to increase their capacity for Thursday's UEFA Cup tie with FK Viking.

UEFA have given the north Wales club permission to erect temporary stands for the visit of Norwegian side FK Viking - who have a large following around Norway and Europe.

The club have now asked fans to help with to install the 500 seats this weekend at the Coronation Gardens end of their Belle Vue ground.

Rhyl director Dave Milner said: "We owe it to our magnificent supporters to provide as many seats as possible."

Club officials had travelled to Swansea on Thursday to assess the possibility of using seats from the derelict Vetch Field, however, they were deemed to be unusable, but Coventry City - the only other major club to be moving to a new stadium this summer - came to the rescue.
