Todorov available on loan

Portsmouth manager Alain Perrin has finally confirmed that striker Svetoslav Todorov can leave the club on a six-month loan deal as he works his way back from two years out with injury.

So far Championship side Cardiff City have been strongly linked with the Bulgarian, and Perrin has given Todorov green light for him to move.

Perrin said: "I expect a lot from him, he's a very good player.

"I've been very satisfied with him in pre-season, he scored some goals and played very well.

"He only needs games to find his feet, and if he stays with us he won't play enough, so we need to find a club for the next six months."

New Bluebirds boss Dave Jones is desperate to find a proven goalscorer before the end of the transfer window and sees Todorov as an ideal candidate, who knows how to find the back of the net in the Championship.
