Richard Langley today admitted he is on the way out the door at Ninian Park.
Cardiff City manager Dave Jones has told Langley to find another club and the Jamaican said: "It's the end of an era for me.
"The manager has told me he's looking to bring in his own players and that my wages are too high for the club to sustain over the rest of the season, so I should look for another club.
"If the right offer comes along I'll be on my way. Sam Hammam said three more players had to go - I could well be one of them."
The 25-year old is under contract at the south Wales club until next summer, however, was not part of the squad that travelled to Ipswich for today's opening Coca-Cola Championship match.
Owner Hammam has identified that three further players need to leave Ninian Park, sooner rather than later and it expected that Langley, along with Andy Campbell and Martyn Margetson could be on their way out.
