Wrexham boss Denis Smith has bemoaned "a serious miscarriage of justice" at Meadow Lane after seeing Notts County debutant Stacy Long's injury-time goal steal the points for Gudjon Thordarson's side.
Smith is convinced his side should have had a second-half penalty and also felt defender Dennis Lawrence was fouled in the build up to the decisive goal.
He said: "Two misjudged decisions have cost us the match. I thought we were comfortable and would get at least a draw but it was a serious miscarriage of justice.
"Sometimes when you come down a level the officials are not as good but I cannot say more because I will get into trouble.
"We are in a country of free speech but we are not allowed to express our true feelings."
Last night's defeat to Notts County will come as a major blow to Smith has side prepare to push for promotion from League Two at the first attempt.
